Lowering your cholesterol and triglycerides levels can be largely accomplished with diet changes.  Even if you are on  cholesterol-lowering medications, you may be able to reduce your dose if you alter your diet.   You may also need help to lower your sodium intake to lower your blood pressure.  Many clients have lost weight, changed their diet, and thus lowered their need for all medications.  We use the DASH diet and Mediterranean diet as guides.

A new evidenced based dietary treatment  called  low FODMAPS diet very effective in identifying fermentable carbohydrates that cause gas, bloating and bowel disruption.


We have advanced training in both Celiac Disease and low FODMAPS diet.  Local gastroenterologists frequently refer patients needing dietary direction We have developed materials to help you select products, read labels and order off menus. We can help with food choices, meal planning and resource development.   We keep up with the evolving body of knowledge of food sensitivities, allergies and food products.


Several of our dietitians have worked in the field of Renal Nutrition and can help with diet for kidney function.




Eating Disorders—We have a dietitian specialist in eating disorders.  We work closely with inpatient programs for aftercare, as well as therapists in the community to manage anorexia, bulimia, and BED.


Childhood Obesity—We have special training in Pediatric and Adolescent Weight Management. We have taught the “Shapedown” Program at Chester  County Hospital, participated in child obesity research studies at the Univeristy of Pennsylvania,  and  developed “Growing Healthy Kids” for the Obesity Prevention Program for Children at Nemours Foundations AI DuPont.

We have afternoon and evening hours to accommodate families.

Women’s Health—Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome ( PCOS) is managed with appropriate diet and medication.  We help women lose weight with these hormonal problems.    We also help with Healthy Pregnancies and Infant Nutrition.





Many people have become serious about a sport, and so need to optimize their nutrition for enhanced performance.  We help you understand how to fuel  your body , while steering you away from unproven and potentially harmful nutrition practices.
